Youth Hub volunteer / helper

We are looking for two people preferably DBS checked who would be committed to helping at our Youth Club at Farringdon Park Community Centre, Thirlmere Road, Preston, PR1 5TR.

The youth hub children fall into the age range 11 years to 18 years. But currently the oldest child is 12

The youth hub is open every Tuesday 17.30 to 18.30pm. We also deliver trips out during school holidays etc

Must be age 18 years plus

What skills do I need?

Good with children and patient and understand child needs

first aid trained

safeguarding trained

food handling trained

When do I need to be available?

We are looking for two people aged 18 years and above to help at our youth club as soon as possible. Preferably early February 2025 The post will be open for at least 15 months Training will be provided. Volunteers will receive paid expenses. Volunteers will be covered by insurance
