Winckley Square Summer Festival

Every year the Friends of Winckley Square organise a COMPLETELY FREE FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL. No entrance fee, all the entertainment and activities are FREE. There is something for all ages. Sit and relax and sip a PIMMs or a beer from our POP UP bar whilst watching the show or dancing to MAMMA MANIA - ABBA Tribute band. It will be a FUN PACKED DAY with lots to do and join in.

Volunteer stewards are needed to set up 7 gazebos, help the performers set up their activities such as crazy golf, circus skills, giant games, control the car park. Help stock up the bar. The events lasts for four hours - 12noon to 4pm but volunteers are need to prepare at 10am and to help dismantle at 4pm. This usually talks an hour. 

What skills do I need?

Being able to work with others, friendly to visitors, reliable. If you are happy to set up then you need to be strong enough to be one of four erecting a gazebo.
