Warehouse Assistant

Recycling Lives, FareShare Lancashire and Cumbria

We are looking for help in our food redistribution warehouse picking orders for our charities that rely on food donations.  

You would be working a busy warehouse alongside up to 15 volunteers - picking up trays of surplus food donated from organisations for the benefit of the community and reducing waste. You will be checking and dispatching orders - you will get on the job training.


Mileage travel expenses are reimbursed for you to get from home to our place of work. 

We offer lots of opportunities for you to get training and personal development in house.


* Whilst Recycling Life's/ Fareshare accept those with Criminal Convictions, due to the nature of the roles, there may be some convictions which mean the oppertunity may not be suitable. What skills do I need?

We are looking for someone who is friendly, polite and enthusiastic.

it is quite physical work and you also need to be safety conscious in a busy working environment.

If you are applying you would be required to cover a half day as a shift - 9 - 12 but you can do as many half day shifts as you like. One shift per week is asked for as a minimum.
