Volunteering & Skills Programme- Dismantling

We offer flexible and tailored volunteering opportunities in our recycling workshop in Preston. Placements allow participants to develop a range of transferable skills around communication, problem-solving and time management while receiving support with any additional needs. Training opportunities to complete FLT licence or CSCS card, as an example, and pre-employment support. 18 years +. PPE will be provided. 

* Whilst Recycling Life's/ Fareshare accept those with Criminal Convictions, due to the nature of the roles, there may be some convictions which mean the oppertunity may not be suitable. What skills do I need?

Duties include, helping with processing and dismantling waste electricals ready for recycling and preparing cylinder boilers for reuse. Completing manual tasks, using tools and equipment, following health and safety guidelines.

This is an on-going opportunity and volunteering can be done between 8.30am-4.30pm week days.
