Volunteering and Skills Programme - Warehousing

Recycling Lives, FareShare Lancashire and Cumbria

We offer flexible and tailored volunteering opportunities in our Food Redistribution Centre. Placements allow participants to develop a range of transferable skills around communication, problem-solving and time management while receiving support with any additional needs. Training opportunities to complete FLT licence or CSCS card, as an example, and pre-employment support. 18 years +. PPE will be provided. 


* Whilst Recycling Life's/ Fareshare accept those with Criminal Convictions, due to the nature of the roles, there may be some convictions which mean the oppertunity may not be suitable. What skills do I need?

Duties include, picking and packing surplus food items to order. Following order sheets to ensure delivery and collection times are met. Helping with incoming and outgoing deliveries, general warehouse duties, following food safety procedures and standards.
