Volunteer Role: Launch Event Support (PEP)

Date: Monday 16 February, BB1 6NZ

Time: 12:00–2:00pm (2 hours)

Location: Bangor Community Centre, Blackburn, BB1 6NZ

About the role

We’re looking for friendly, welcoming volunteers to support PEP’s launch event. You’ll be one of the first faces guests see and help create a warm, positive experience for everyone attending.

Key duties

- Greeting guests and being a friendly PEP brand ambassador

- Signposting attendees to the launch room and key areas

- Registering guests on arrival

- Supporting sign-ups for future volunteering opportunities

What we’re looking for

- Approachable, reliable, and friendly people

- Comfortable speaking to members of the public

- Happy to support a community-focused event

No prior experience needed - just enthusiasm and a welcoming attitude

What skills do I need?

- Approachable, reliable, and friendly people

- Ideally have done some community volunteering in the past
