Volunteer with Babyzone! Make a Difference for Families

Babyzone

Do you have a passion for supporting families and young children? Join Babyzone, a community-driven charity providing a safe and welcoming space for families with children from birth to 5 years old.

At Babyzone, we offer:

✅ Free soft play for little ones to explore and have fun

✅ Free crafts & creative activities to spark young imaginations

✅ A cozy reading area to encourage a love for books

✅ Free Evidence-based classes that support early development and child/parent/carer interaction 


We need volunteers like YOU! 

We're looking for friendly, kind, caring and enthusiastic people to help with:

-Setting up and running activities

-Reading with children

-Welcoming and chatting with families

-General support to keep our sessions running smoothly


Experience of working with children and families is required.


Every Wednesday, between 8.30am - 3pm

A great opportunity to gain experience, meet new people, and give back to your community

What skills do I need?

  • Empathy & Patience – Understanding and supporting families with kindness and without judgment
  • Good Communication – Engaging with both parents and young children in a warm and friendly way
  • Creativity & Playfulness – Helping with activities like crafts, reading, and play in an engaging way
  • Adaptability & Flexibility – Every session is different! Being open to changing plans and responding to children's needs
  • Active Listening – Supporting parents who may need a listening ear or some encouragement
  • Teamwork – Working alongside other volunteers and staff to create a welcoming, inclusive and caring environment
