Volunteer Group Space Facilitators

Number 1 Coffee Shop has two spaces that are used for Community Groups throughout the week. The volunteers would be responsible for making sure these spaces are kept in good order and would be on hand to help these groups with any issues that may come up whilst the group is on the premises. We would want volunteers to be able to commit to at least 4 hours a week. The groups we have running at the moment that would need volunteers are 1) Friendship Group for Socially Isolated Darwen Residents 2) British Sign Language Course 3) Art Club 4) Gardening Workshop – (Children, School Holidays) 5) Parent/Toddler Group. We also have an exhibition space that would also need to be looked after.

Although we ask for a minimum of four hours, if the volunteer wants to do more that is ok. We have groups in throughout the week so the volunteer has a choice of days
