Reception

Meet and greet everyone who comes into the centre and answer the phones. Lots of interaction with people and helping them to find the right person/organisation to talk to or be referred onto.

Reception is open every day from 9.00am to 4.00pm. Sessions are 9.00am to 12.30pm and 12.30pm to 4.00pm

What skills do I need?

• Friendly manor

• Empathy

• Use of computer

• Answering telephone

• Creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where everyone is feels at home

• Listening to requests and signposting to Intact services or external services

• Registering people into events

• Answering phones and dealing with queries
