Puppy Socialiser

Dogs for Good

Every day we rely on our extended family of volunteers to look after our puppies and dogs on their journey to making life possible for so many people.

Right now, we have an urgent need for more people to care for and nurture our puppies through to young adolescent dogs before their expert training begins.

No experience is needed, but we do ask for the following:

You have a fully-fenced safe and secure garden

You’re available to spend time with the puppy and keep them company – leaving them alone for no more than two hours during their first few weeks, and no more than four hours as they get older

You have no more than two pet dogs in the home

You have access to a car and/or driver for you and the puppy

You’re able to dedicate time to train and socialise the puppy, with guidance from our Puppy Coordinators

You’re able to attend monthly puppy classes, which include a mix of group sessions and one-to-one home visits from a Puppy Coordinator

All food and vet bills are covered by the charity, and our Puppy Coordinators are on hand with full guidance and support.
