Practical Conservation Volunteer (Howick Hall Wood - Penwortham)

Lancashire Wildlife Trust - Brockholes

This is an opportunity to join a new group and help out with monitoring, maintenance and habitat creation at Howick Hall Woods (a woodland off Howick Cross Lane in Penwortham) on Fridays from 10am until 2pm.

As well as being a home to wildlife the site will also allow people to engage with nature and our volunteers will get involved with a variety of activities to maintain the area.

We'll provide the tools, training and personal protective equipment for the tasks and we just ask that you bring a packed lunch and wear sturdy footwear and outdoor clothing that is suitable for the weather. We will carry out our practical tasks on the site all year round and in most weather conditions.
