Pop In Cafe Volunteer

Darwen Old Peoples Welfare Association

We are wanting to recruit volunteers to help us out in our café. We would hope that the volunteers would be able to commit to a minimum of four hours a week to help us continue to provide this essential resource where our community can meet, chat and make new friends and also as part of our Warm Hub.  A Food Hygiene qualification is desirable, but training will be made available. Duties would include preparing refreshments and serving food to customers, keeping the areas of the café clean.
This is a place where anyone of any age can come for a brew, chat and a slice, beit toast or cake and feel welcome.  Where friendships are forged and rekindled. Most importantly can you be that welcoming, warm and caring person?
