Preston Volunteers wants to inspire more people to get involved in volunteering and helping their local community. 

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to help us with our social media marketing - helping to promote volunteering opportunities and voluntary orgs in Preston sharing their roles and inspiring people to get involved.  Alongside supporting us with Admin within the Preston Volunteers office, so we are reaching as many groups and volunteers as possible - driving accsesabilitiy and inclusivity. 

We Looking for someone familiar with instagram and with building up social media reach and followers. We are looking for someone who is happy getting out and about around Preston, attending events adn helping to share volunteer stories adn experiences. 

We'd need you to come in once a week for team meetings in our office at the Vault building on Glovers Court on Tuesday afternoons, but the rest of time you can work from home, and the office based on what works for you. 

The role needs one day a week of commitment but the hours can be spread across the week.

What skills do I need?

Reliable, friendly and chatty to engage people and build rapport, a good eye for a photo.

An understanding of how to increase social media reach and marketing.

Familiar with editing programmes.
