Pen Pal Volunteer

• Exchange hand-written letters with matched Carer on a regular basis without sharing addresses. Provide a remote Human Connection with a Carer who may be feeling isolated and/or in need of emotional support.

What skills do I need?

Ability to communicate and engage with carers

Reliable, punctual, and non-judgemental

Positive attitude to working with individuals from different backgrounds

Compassion, understanding and open-minded

*Note: Volunteers must be able to provide details for us to gain satisfactory references and DBS. We will pay for a current DBS.*
