Meet and Greet Volunteer SPARK

As part of the SPARK Recovery Collaborative, volunteers will help individuals with substance misuse issues access support within SPARK'S main office in Blackburn, the role will involve building up rapport with people accessing services and signposting to other initiatives within the Borough to help them with their own recovery and coping strategies. 

The opportunities will run through out the week during normal office hours, this role may expand or opportunities open up outside these hours as the roles grow. 

The role will also involve attending a 4 day volunteer induction course.

What skills do I need?

Empathic, good listening skills, supportive and non judgmental, welcome people with lived experience.
