Landscaper / Gardener for Greensleeves Community Allotment

We’re looking for a landscaper or gardener to volunteer their time and help us project manage our lovely Greensleeves Community Allotment in Shadsworth.

This large green space is already home to many fruit trees, raised beds and well-stocked sheds, and is full of potential. We need some extra help from the community over the next few months to get things over the line.

Some of the final jobs we need support with:

• Finishing a wood store behind the shed

• Building a compost bay

• Flagging the front of the shed and creating a covering

• Making a communal fire pit area

We’ve got a brilliant team of staff and volunteers who are ready to get stuck in, but we’re looking for someone with experience who can confidently take the lead and guide us through these last bits.

Once complete, the space will be used for forest school activities, community upskilling sessions, outdoor woodwork, and as a general gathering space for people to connect with nature and each other.
