Fundraising Admin Volunteer

Role Requirements: We are looking for a volunteer to support the fundraising team throughout the year with the administrative tasks that are required to make our community-based fundraising events run smoothly, successfully, and effectively. The role would require a weekly commitment, particularly in the build-up to an event, that could be arranged around a time that suits you. Whether you can spare a few hours or a day in your week, we are looking for reliable and regular help within the office and at events to support and lead on tasks such as contacting volunteers, creating and sending out rotas and distributing T-shirts, badges and event information.

Role Summary: Your role could include any of the following.

- Helping to contact and enrol existing volunteers for our key events throughout the year.

- Putting together rotas

- Emailing out briefs and event info to volunteers

- Helping with the administrative tasks during a fundraising campaign

- Working with the Fundraising Team to grow existing events and to support them in creating and developing new community events

- To work as part of a team

- Be over the age of 18

- Commitment to help raise money in the community

- To undertake appropriate training and development opportunities

When we need you: We are looking for someone who can give half a day to a day a week at peak times in preparation for an event or campaign, as well as regular support within the fundraising office throughout the year depending on availability. We are seeking someone with the commitment and people skills to develop a connection and knowledge base of the fundraising volunteers and events to know who would be good for a particular role. They will be someone who would enjoy building a rapport with the volunteer base and is comfortable working in an office using computers and phones to complete admin-based tasks as well as being hands-on when it comes to events out in the community. You may prefer a regular day to come and help or a few hours here and there. It would be fantastic if when applying for this role, you can specify your general availability on your application form.
