Darwen Charity Shop Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to operate the till, help keep the shop floor tidy and serve customers. We also need volunteers who can help with the 'back room' preparation of goods for sale - this might include tagging and measuring garments, labelling bric a brac, washing and cleaning donated items and using the steamer.

 

What skills do I need?

good customer service, 

ability to use an electronic till

reasonable level of fitness,

good attention to detail

numerate

Our shop is open 9.30am to 4.30pm - volunteers typically help for a full morning or afternoon although this can be flexible
