Community Hub Helper

We need volunteers to provide general help, which might include helping in the kitchen to put out pre-prepared food, serve tea an coffee, helping set up at the start and tidy up at the end. To sit with people who are being cared for(who typically have dementia) to chat, play games, do jigsaws and just generally be a friend to our members.

What skills do I need?

To be DBS checked and to take part in online safe guarding course, which we provide. Volunteers need to provide there own transportation. Other than that we are just looking for friendly people who like to help others.
