Blackburn Towpath Taskforce

Canal & River Trust

Join us for a practical outdoors volunteering session, between 10am and 2.30pm every second and fourth Thursday of the month in and around Blackburn.

Contact us to find out the exact meeting point for the day!!!

Activities undertaken include: vegetation works, litter picks and general towpath maintenance. No experience is needed though it's appreciated if you can let us know that you're turning up to help ensure we have enough tools and to find out where the next volunteer day is taking place!

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing which you don't mind getting dirty and sturdy footwear. We'll provide all the tools and equipment needed to do the task, but you may also want to bring your own flask or water bottle, along with a packed lunch or snacks, depending on how long you will be staying.
